How are the meal plans personalised to my health goals?
The MYMC Weight Loss Program offers a personalised approach to weight loss based on your activity levels each day. Design a plan or let us design one for you which is tailored to your lifestyle and offers you a flexible approach to weight loss. As we believe sustainable weight loss is not a 'One size fits all' approach.

What if I have an active subscription to another MYMC Meal Plan?
If you have a current MYMC subscription, this will not be affected if you sign up to the Weight Loss Program. If you do need to pause your subscription orders, you can do so via your online account, via the app, or by contacting our Customer Support Team at 1300 364 993 or email at team@mymusclechef.com

What food do I receive as part of the program?
Our program offers menu items which have been specially selected by our team of dietitians along with exclusive products which are tailor made for weight loss. These are comprised of a combination of meals, snacks, drinks and sweet treats which are high in protein and fibre to keep you satisfied throughout the day and takes care of cravings late at night.

Can I add extra MYMC snacks to my order when on the program?
Our personalised program is designed to satisfy you! We provide you with all the meals and snacks you require for the day so all you have to do is sit back and relax!

Can I have my boxes collected?
The boxes My Muscle Chef meals are delivered in are recyclable, so we no longer offer a box collection service. Please dispose of the packaging responsibly.

Weight Loss

How much weight will I lose on the MYMC Weight Loss Program?
Our team of dietitians suggest 0.5-1.0kg of weight loss per week is a healthy way to lose weight and our programs are designed to support you through your weight loss journey. Along with a complimentary 8 week Platinum Fitness First or Goodlife Health Clubs gym membership (valid for new members only), as well as guided on demand workouts, our programs are designed to support you, ensuring you are guided through the ups and downs of trying to lose weight.

What if I am still hungry?
Our team of dietitians have specifically designed a menu which is high in protein to keep you feeling fuller for longer. We encourage you to add non-starchy vegetables to each meal to ensure you reach your fibre goals and to keep you feeling full and satisfied. We've also provided you with a suggested list of add-ons based on your remaining calories for the day to allow you to have a flexible approach to weight loss.

Can I swap around breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack items?
Throughout our Personalised Program you can customise your activity level for each day which determines your meals and snacks for the day! For best results we recommend following the program that has been designed to achieve the best results.

Can I add extra foods to my meals?
We always encourage healthy eating and there's nothing healthier than adding fresh non-starchy vegetables which are rich in vitamins, minerals and fibre to each meal. In addition to this, your personalised dashboard will display your remaining calories for the day, so if you wish to add additional food into your daily intake we have done the thinking for you and have suggested some add-ons to help guide you through what a tailored and flexible approach to weight loss really is.

Can I still eat out once or twice a week?
Yes you can still eat out! Having balance between your meal plan and enjoying a social meal out with friends or family is part of long-term sustainable eating. It teaches you how to enjoy your food and have balance if your life which will enable you to maintain long-term results. Between eating out and your meal plan, it is still important you keep to the structure of your plan and remain consistent around the day you eat out to get the best results from the program.

Can I drink alcohol?
Yes you can still drink alcohol. Moderation is important, and so is knowing how to choose drinks that will have the least impact on your weight loss goals. Alcohol is calorie dense, so if you choose to have a few drinks, make sure to include this in your calorie budget for the day to ensure you stay within your calorie total for the day.

Is this program suitable for me if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
Firstly, congratulations on your pregnancy! During this joyous time we recommend to navigate through our wider menu to ensure you are consuming enough calories to assist you during this time.
If you are a breastfeeding mum, we understand life can get crazy. We offer a higher calorie option to ensure you are getting enough nutrients and calories whilst still having the ability to join our Weight Loss Program.

Will I need to exercise whilst on the program?
For MYMC Weight Loss Program participants exercise is highly recommended. As part of the program you will have access to a complimentary 8 week Platinum gym membership to Fitness First or Goodlife Health Clubs (valid for new members only). In addition to the gym membership you will also have access to a range of in app workouts.

Will I need to take any additional supplements whilst on the program?
No, the MYMC Weight Loss Program will provide you with all your meals and snacks to meet your daily requirements. If you are currently on any additional medication please consult your medical practitioner for advice.

Will there be any additional charges once I have signed up to the Weight Loss Program?
All of the meals and delivery costs are covered in the weekly program fee. No additional costs will be incurred.

What payment options are available?
You can pay for the MYMC Weight Loss Program via Credit Card (Mastercard, Visa or AMEX), PayPal and Buy Now Pay Later instalments.

Can I cancel my program?
You can cancel your subscription at any time prior to the weekly delivery cut off.

Food and Ingredients

Do you cater for vegan/vegetarian options?
We don't currently offer a full vegan/vegetarian option. We are continually working on expanding our program offering so check back soon or sign up to our newsletter to stay up to date on all of the latest news.

What if I have allergies?
While we take the utmost care in cooking, please be advised that our meals are prepared in a commercial kitchen, so if you have allergies or food sensitivities we recommend consulting with your health professional and/or taking caution as we cannot guarantee all meals are completely free of allergens.

What if I have medical issues?
MYMC offers high protein, portioned, energy controlled and nutritionally balanced meals as part of a balanced diet to help people achieve their weight loss goals. If you require specific dietary guidance, it’s best that you consult your doctor.

How do I warm up my meals if I don’t have a microwave?
All your meals are tested and tweaked based on how they taste and hold up when heated in the microwave, so this is our recommended heating method.
As an alternative, you can transfer your meal from the plastic tray into an oven safe dish and heat in the oven, or heat on the stove in a non-stick frying pan.
Please note - our meal containers are microwave safe, but should not be placed in the oven or on the stove.

Delivery

Can I select my delivery day or time?
Depending on your location, deliveries are scheduled on Saturday, Sunday and Mondays for the MYMC Weight Loss Program. We don't currently offer alternate dates and times.

Are there any additional costs for delivery?
There are no additional delivery costs as part of the MYMC Weight Loss Program subscription.

What happens if I live in a secured apartment?
If you live in a secured apartment complex, please ensure you are home to receive your delivery. If no one is available to collect your delivery please arrange a suitable time with our staff prior to the delivery date.
Please note: The driver may not call or buzz upon arrival even if requested as you are sent an SMS at the time of delivery.
If the driver is unable to access the apartment, they will have to leave your order at the entrance to the building. Please contact us on 1300 364 993 and speak to our staff to organise the delivery instructions to nominate a safe drop point.

How do I download the MYMC App?

Do I have to sign up to the MYMC Weight Loss Program to use the MYMC App?
No, you don't have to be a part of the MYMC Weight Loss Program to use the app. You can still download the MYMC app to order from our menu builder or choose another meal plan that suits your needs. The workouts, mindfulness tips and access to the community and experts are exclusive to our Weight Loss Program participants.

Can I access the MYMC Weight Loss Program features on my desktop?
We've developed the MYMC Weight Loss Program on the app to allow you to track your progress on the go, at this stage the features are not available on the desktop.

How can I order my meals through the MYMC App?
We've made it really easy for you just follow the prompts each week to order your weekly meals. You have the choice of selecting your meals from our Weight Loss Program menu or we can do all the hard work for you.
